剧情简介
电影讲述了警官沙克利（克林特·伊斯特伍德 Clint Eastwood 饰）的故事——一个正直而不受赏识的警官。他接手了一宗重要案件，需要将毒案的关键证人莫利护送到凤凰城出庭作证。然而，在返回凤凰城的途中，他们却遭到连环追杀，发现凤凰城的警界与怨罪团伙相勾结，意图杀害他们以消除证人。沙克利对这种邪恶行径感到愤怒，他决定与莫利一起回到凤凰城，寻求报复。为了引起敌人的注意，他们故意向敌人透露了自己的路线。两人驾驶着一辆装满铁皮的大巴士，勇敢地开进了凤凰城。数以百计的警察奉命拦截他们，车辆遭到重重打击，变得破烂不堪。
在绝境中，沙克利和莫利紧紧拥抱着走出车门，此时邪恶的警察局长下令警察向他们开枪。然而，面对沙克利和莫利的正气，没有一个人听从他的命令。最终，正义战胜了邪恶，罪恶的警察局长死在了莫利的枪下。
